*Ice and Fire, by Acushla Subscribe to rss feed for Acushla

Under the sun they stand apart. Oceans in distance but
united at heart. Eternally yearning to fulfill their
desire. To join their hands, both Ice and Fire.

But years, decades and centuries go by. Ice melts and
Fire's evanescent. They close their eyes and wait as they
cry. To be reunited under the crescent.

Under the moon, together they lie. Inches away, united as
they die. Ice of the moon and Fire of the sun embrace and
fly together as one.

Far from over is this tale of devotion. For as they kiss,
the stronger they grow. From death comes the life of an
immortal emotion. Love, the river with an eternal flow.

Under the stars, hand in hand they sit. Fire and Ice, a
paradoxal fit. Staring in awe at the celestial skies. Never

again will they say their good-byes.

Lovely, it's like a fairy tale.

I like how you made them feel like starstruck lovers who never really get to hold each other. Usually Fire and Ice are mostly seen as opposing forces, so its like being close and yet unable to reach out and touch the one you love.
