What the world needs today ...
Is just to hear we christians say
Lord, Your the potter... I'm the clay,
Make my body whole today...
We should walk the walk...
...Not just talk the talk.
Bind these wounds, these gaping holes.
Lord, build a bridge across my soul.
help me to see past myself,
and take my Bible off the shelf.
We can walk the walk...
... not just talk the talk.
What the world needs today
Is just to hear we christians say:
Take my life and live within
Jesus, cleanse me of all sin!
pain and sorrow left behind
We've brought his love to all mankind.
We should walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
