Calm midst the storm, by lost the lonely dead Subscribe to rss feed for lost the lonely dead

Torrents of events rain down
Looking up the eye visible
Stuck in a rock and a hard place
Will i survive this storm?

A waves curles up ready to pounce
Mustering all strengths hanging tight
Holding on for a hope of sunshine

Hail thrashing my plans of harvest
Prayers answered only with thunder
Wind making my head swim confused
Will i survive this storm?

The stom unrelenting yet dulls
Pulling together my thoughts tight
Grasping the reality of hopelessness

Resolve pummeling the storm's fight
Watching the light midst the tunnel
Numbness colliding with my senses
I must survive this storm

New direction still brainstorming
Questions finding answers slowly
Painfully accepting these truths

It's true, you do like imagery in your poems. I must admit you do have a gift, i can picture everything in my mind... well done! Oh, and i would give you a 9, but for some stupid reason my computer doesn't let me vote! ARGH!!!

well to be honest i personally thought it was a little pathetic when i first wrote it, i guess because it seemed over-dramatized to me somehow yet i do like a few things i stumbled upon in it thanks faith, i may re-write this one day...im fond of doing that
