Friends they couldn't see, by Gaylene Thomas Subscribe to rss feed for Gaylene Thomas

My life has been quite different,
right from when I was quite young,
Probably before the time I remember,
is where it all begun.
I know that I was different from my
mother's brother's three,
But nobody ever wanted to know,
nor did they want to see.....
It didn't matter to any of them,
what I did or didn't see,
Because while trying to tell my stories,
they never listened to me..
So my family just exepted,
I had friends they couldn't see,
Because to them they meant nothing,
but they were everything to me.
But right up until I became a mother myself,
& my child began to grow,
And started playing with emaginary friends
did my family begin to know,
That all the stories I told them
about my friends they couldn't see,
Had come back to play with my daughter,
as she is very much like me.
So now because of my daughter
my family have come to see,
**That everything my daugthter tells,
Has already been told by me.**
**That everything that is happening to her has
                already happened to me.**
