You Built A Lie On Ice Cubes, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

You built a lie on ice cubes
With cold calculated intent
You built a tower to the sky
Yet none knew what you meant
The ice is melting slowly
It's falling to the ground
And you're desperately clinging on
Knowing no one is around
There's pressure forcing down your tower
An inquisition build the heat
Suspicion darkens every person's mind
And yet you won't admit defeat
But lies won't save you now
You don't understand the truth
If only others would believe your words
But they're lacking any proof
Since you built your world on ice cubes
It's been a slow descend from the throne
You've slipped to the ground once more
Lost the people you used to own
So now sit in the melted pool
Drown your tears alongisde your mess
Know that no one trusts anymore
Even if you were to confess
For you built a lie on ice cubes
And you show no remorse or regret
The only problem is that you were caught
And that's something I shall not forget
