Laying here naked on this bed of hope
With a pea beneath the springs
I'm soaring forward through time and space
As I fly upon my angel's wings
I'm calling into the calm of the night
Waiting in stillness for the reply
The voice of a guardian picks me up
And I dance to him through the sky
My eyes are shut as I move above
And I take a glance down below
Im leaving the one who lays lying there
And I know exactly where I shall go
In an instant I'm standing in your room
Patiently, I'm watching as you sleep
Your breathing becomes steady and low
As you fall into a slumber so deep
Eyes open and you turn to me
My fingers entwined with your left hand
Together we leave the one lying there
As we venture to our own foreign land
I'm spinning with you around every star
We watch the sun rise from an empty beach
Swimming through those crystalline waterfalls
In this place just beyond our reach
But the dawn is quickly approaching
So smile that sad goodbye
Yet know that there is always a time
When I'll dance with my love in the sky

bed of hope...is how most lovers beggin to cope...with the hangman's rope...love is just like dope...restless and disturbing...enlightening and perturbing...cute image..our own foreign land...hand in hand...like the last line best since i used to love to dance long long ago....cheerio!
