But my groom he hasnt asked me

I sort of booked a venue to
Which could end up being a financial mess...

No need to make my relationship hard

I went to taste the cake today
Thats what made it final I think
And Im just counting the seconds now til he asks
Until he gives me that eternal link

It better be a platinum ring
I think gold is tacky you know
Oh I racked up a huge phonebill this week
Informing everyone to wait for the show

Except he still hasnt asked me
The guy who cleans my windows said its fine
He said he made his missus wait fifteen years
So eventually that groom will be mine

Im slightly concerned about the flowers
If he doesnt ask soon then they might die
Maybe I could just have those fake ones
Although without real flowers I might cry
