My aunts poem, she passed away Dec. 2nd,2008 , by Nightlife Subscribe to rss feed for Nightlife

"Last night I dreamt I was a sail boat
Simple and young,
Painted white and decorated in wood
Stained by the ocean's marks.
My sails high and low
Like curtains swayed
To the motion of the sky's whimsical blows
And like wings drifted amidst all the blue.
No captain, nor sailor aboard
To lead my direction nor destination
I alone with the silence of the clamorous sea
Curious birds and creatures that followed me.
And at night the stars glimmered and smiled
And performed for me,
While the rain and waves bathe me for the
Next few days.
Not knowing where I was destined
Nor aware of how far I could go
I still knew I would reach what for
So long I hoped I would find
And when the sun came nearer and clouds
Painted the heavens,
I knew I had lived a new horizon
And was glad to know
I still had not landed on earth.

She passed away
this year, 2009, in January 15th
she was supposed to turn 26
She died in Africa, Mali in a tragic accident.
You can find her in the internet
she also came out in the news
She was working with peace Corps
and then got offered a job
she accepted....

I miss her.....
she was amazing and a Nerd lol.
she was Intelligent like seriosuly
in her grades it showed and everything
and she was such a great person.....

This was her poem
and she was very poetic....
I know she has more poems
but for now I only have this one.

Hope you liked it.....
I know she's in heaven now....
