My face is shallow
my lips are cold
i hang from an emotional gallow
but my intentions were gold
my face is pale
my eyes are open
lying in that jail
my face distorts again
A smile plays across your lips
how could you know
My face is full of holes and rips
and still i say no
no i will not cry out loud
and feed the monster inside
My face is covered in a shroud
my shame forever to hide
your face glows with happiness
my face is never seen
as if i am less
as i have always been.
