Chronicles of the Blind, by sharonrenee Subscribe to rss feed for sharonrenee

I look into your eyes and I fell.
I fell as hard and fast as can be.
Fast as the rush of wind that took my breath away.
I’ve been so blind.
You have always been there in front of me.
They say blindness can’t be cured.
But then I saw.
I saw past the friend and saw something entirely beautiful.
I saw and I fell.
I tried not to fall.
Tried to catch myself.
My mind racing.
And my heart skipping a beat when my mind came to you.
I was falling hard and fast.
Velocity was picking up.
I was falling faster every second.
Enjoying the exhilaration of the fall.
My heart so full of joy it could burst.
Wonderful thoughts of you came whirring around my mind.
Then, It came.
The crash.
I had hit rock bottom.
Dazed and confused was I.
Who knew falling in love was so painful?
Those dark eyes.
Thought my blindness I saw.
But that was my mistake.
Because you weren't there to catch me.

Amazing..this is beautifully written! Full of emotion too and of course, rather depressing but still I like it! You are really talented!
