Maybe I should be strong,
I should stand up,
Admit that I was wrong,
Give you a hand up,
But too much time has gone between and it's so different
now,
I need to ignore the past and set things straight somehow,
I don't want my life,
To always be like this,
Don't want to say good bye,
To the things I miss,
I should be the bigger person and try to put things right,
All I hope is that you don't decide to start a fight,

I've been through it all,
I've had the chance to fall,
But I'm here, I won't stall,
And I know that it's my fault too,
It was me, it was you,
It's time to start this all anew,
Cos now I know, now I see,
It was you, it was me,

I don't want the past,
To bring me down,
Put rewind on fast,
Without the sound,
I don't need my nights to be filled with regret,
I've had alot of falls but I ain't been stopped yet,
I've had to ignore,
You when you go by,
Remembering before,
And tears I refused to cry,
But that's all over now and I'd like to start again,
Forget about how dumb we were and blank out all the pain,

I've been through it all,
I've had the chance to fall,
But I'm here, I won't stall,
And I know that it's my fault too,
It was me, it was you,
It's time to start this all anew,
Cos now I know, now I see,
It was you, it was me.
