I lay back on the grass looking up at the clouds go drifting
by. Beside me lays my friend and guider. He delights in my
happiness and weeps at my sadness.

The sun begins to set and the sunset is beauitful. I begin
to feel sad and my friend picks up on it.

"What's wrong?" He asks looking at me with deep concern on
his face.

"I don't want today to end, it has so amazing and now you
have to go." Is my sad reply.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Well, you have to go home to your family now don't you?"

"No, I don't. I thought today would show you, I want to be
with you always, you are part of my family, I will be with
you always."

"Really!" I answer in unbelievable surprise.

"Of course, you are and of course I am. I want to be with
you in every second, every moment, of your life."

And it is true, God wants to be with you in every moment of
your life. He wants to share your sorrows, delight in your
gladness. He wants to be there to catch you if you fall and
to dance with you when you are at the peak of your
happiness. Nothing you could possibly do will take that love
for you away from him. He died on the cross to set you free
from sin now will you trust him?

That's an interesting way of looking at the sacrifice that God paid... thanks for the insight!
