A friend
Is that what I'm missing?
A friend
That's what I'm missing
Loneliness will never be cured
Even though I'm self-assured
I need someone else
I'm not sure if I can handle being by myself
For one more day
Each night I pray
That He will grace me with a friend
So I can have someone new to lean on
And we can create a bond
Don't get me wrong
I'm happy with my life
But I know what I'm missing
A friend

Okay, so this is something new for me. I have never really written anything like this. I mean, I'm sure I have thought of poems in my mind like it,(I do that all day long)but some of them don't get written down.

reminds me of EE Cummings! Love it.

I love it, I prayed for a friend and God gave me one but she is moving, so you could read Friends and Goodbyes which is how I feel about her leaving.
