The Other Side, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

Now I find myself on the otherside
The one with everything to lose
And nothing to gain.
I'm the one who isn't mesmerised
And who will not lose again.
I'm not the one who thinks I'm in love
Instead I'm the one that knows
I don't analyise your decision
Instead I'm the one you chose
I don't sit with cyring tears
Wondering if its a risk im willing to take
I'm not the one whose lost and alone
Wallowing in her stupid heartbreak

Instead I'm the one with cautious eyes
Who sees those who wish to attack
I'm the one who gets to love
with the knowledge that im loved back
I'm the one who stands next to him
I shall do so through thick and thin
And those who may dare to cross
They should know that they shan't win
But still im scared that they should try
And create a conflict I don't need
I'm scared of the damage they could do
If they acted out of greed

And that is now my problem
I'm faced with manipulation thats not my own
I'm trapped in a wordless argument
For I'm on the other side.
