Though I may have healed,
May have pushed myself past you,
It doesn't mean that I'll forget,
All that we've been through,
For what is there to gain from life,
If you don't learn from your past?
Nothing but more heartache,
And I've enough of that to last,

Yes I'm letting go of you,
The world will still go on,
I don't need your memories,
To weaken someone strong,
And I don't need the misery,
That you provide for me,
Because seeing you with her,
Was cruelly torturing,

I'm dropping all my feelings,
Although I must admit,
That in some corner of my heart,
Your love will always fit,
And though I fill find a new light,
And smother out your dark,
I will forever love you,
With some small piece of my heart,

Thanks for all the happiness,
That you used to bring,
Thanks for the way you made me laugh,
Made me want to sing,
Thanks for all the good memories,
And the times we had,
And thanks for all the pain you put me through,
I learnt from the bad,

I'll kind of miss my empty obsession,
My burning hopeless love,
How despairing that you want me,
Right after I gave you up,
But how was I to know,
That right after I pushed you away,
That you would pay attention to me,
On that very day?

Oh well as annoying as that is,
I will not look back,
For I have found the light ahead,
And you cloak me with black,
I don't need you,
I won't have you,
No not anymore,
So good bye and good luck and thanks for,
Before.
