Desperate attempt to be the cherished pet The yearning to make proud stifles the fear of disappointment Loving discipline creates emotional bonds Drawing-forth new reasons to trust Lust rages under fevered flesh Wanton desire follows greedy need Darkness washes over shadowed thoughts Caged in blissful torment even with in sleep Chained by will leaves a silent goodbye to control Cause of rapture when giving of soul Mixing tear of joy with tears of pain A touching of life that will never be the same

My favorite line is...
"The yearning to make proud stifles the fear of disappointment"
It's very well written and has a lot of meaning.
This whole poem is full of meaning.
