Tangled Silence, by Dark Neko Subscribe to rss feed for Dark Neko

She sits in her room,
gazing out the window,
looking for an answer,
to her unanswered questions.

It's just her and her thoughts,
left in the peaceful quiet,
of a chaotic life.

She listens for a familiar voice,
calling her from a distance,
but the only thing she hears,
is the sound of the tears falling.

She takes this time,
to sort out her tangled thoughts,
her mixed emotions,
leading her down the wrong road.

Why does happiness lead to pain;
down the long overwhelming road?
Why can't pain lead to happiness,
So she can smile once again?

The silence is broken,
by a shriek,
so loud,
it's almost deafening.

Back to the darkness,
so dark,
you can't see,
the light on the other side.
