No One Ever Knew, by LaShawnna Subscribe to rss feed for LaShawnna

She always seemed like a quiet, and happy girl. She always
did her work never complained, but the truth of it all was
at home nobody cared. She'd get beat by her dad, and her mom
when her mom got drunk. Of course no one ever knew, she'd
cut to take away the pain, when someone would ask about the
cuts, she'd think of a quick lie. She'd cry at night but no
one ever knew. She always seemed so happy, but that was just
a mask she put on. She didn't want anyone to know how
screwed up her life really was. The one night things got
really bad. She finally had enough. She took a gun, and she
put it to her head. She didn't think twice she pulled the
trigger, and blew her brains out. No one ever knew how bad
she really had it.
