Break, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

It came through the air like a bullet
Shot me from where I stood
Confusion flooded from the wound
And I didn't see how you could

Break you said away from me
Separate for just some time
Stop your talking and my response
To sort through things would be a crime

It came through the air like lightning
Threw me down to the ground
My nerves were flying endlessly
As you would no longer be around

Break you stated for the good of us
Till we missed each other you said
That perfect crystal is shattered now
And over the shards I tread

It came through the air like hail
Pouring from my eyes of sky
Beating my face to black and blue
All because I started to cry

Break you said but I had stopped hearing
Your words I couldn't understand
From where I stood you'd gone insane
Yet you had given me back my hand

It came through the air like rockets
Screeching for miles on end
I ranted and raved in lunacy
Since you'd taken away my best friend

Break until we can return
To how we were before
Part our ways then realise
What this relationship is for

It came through the air like a bomb
And the remains could be left to rot
The fact that we were not together
You seemed to have forgot

Break a heart temporarily
And that shall make it alright
You didn't give a timespan on your return
So I would wonder through the night

It came through the air like the morning
As the sunlight reaches each flower
You came rushing back to me
After what had only been one hour

Break you said was not the answer
It wasn't an option for you
Separtion would not solve anything
So now, my friend, what to do?
