No one's there., by Mysti Subscribe to rss feed for Mysti

She screams in the silent,
The deep dark of the night,
She cries in the daylight,
The time of most fright.
To her it's the sunlight,
Of which she should be afraid,
At least in the depth of the night
She can tell that no one is there.
The people they hurt her,
They really don't care,
She knows that she's different,
She knows that they're scared.
Like kittens and puppies,
Like the crow and the dove,
She's learned to not mingle,
They've taught her no love.
So she hides from the daylight,
Runs to the security of the dark,
To the place where she knows
That no one is there.
