as i lie awake in my room tonight
countless thoughts entered my mind
ive been like this for some time now
staring blankly in space
not knowing why or how
cant concentrate in everything i do
confused and i dont now what to do
ive had enough of searching
and im too tired of waiting
if only i could leave this world im in
then ill go to a place where
all i have to do is dream
as i cry alone with no one beside
listen to my heart where music resides
sleeping is hard to do
but forgetting might be the cue..
