Who Are You, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

Who are you girl, with eyes of mist
From tears that fell below
Who are you girl, with lips so stained
From tales overflowing with your woe

Who are you to stand in front of me
And pierce me with your turgid pain
Who are you to plead that I must see
As you're falling down again

Who are you femme, with the broken heart
From years of endless attack
Who are you femme, standing torn apart
By the very emotion that you now lack

Who are you child, pleading from where you hide
That the world will no longer turn
Who are you child, the one who tragically tried
But who just refused to learn

Oh who are you to stand there
The emotion streaked across your face
Oh who are you to calmly stare
From my eyes... I'm in your place.
