You Said, by Broken-Hearted Angel. Subscribe to rss feed for Broken-Hearted Angel.

You said you'd never hurt me
or cause me to despair.
Trust in you to love me,
Your kind of love was rare.

You said you'd never leave me
to wonder all alone.
Trust in you to comfort me,
calling me your own.

You said you'd make me happy
until my dying day.
Trust in you to make me smile,
loving me this way.

Now the hurt is constant,
living only now in fear.
You no longer love me,
to me that much is clear.

Now the lonliness engulfs me,
I'm begging for reprieve.
You no longer comfort me,
In you I can't believe.

Now I'm no longer happy
and wishing only for the end.
You no longer make me smile,
My pain you cannot mend.

So leave me to my sorrows,
My lonliness and pain,
For loving you is hopeless,
but not makes me insane.
