How'd he do it?, by Mysti Subscribe to rss feed for Mysti

A single movement of the finger,
A twitch of the hand,
A bang, a thud, then silence.
He was able to pull the trigger,
I'm left wondering how.
Such a happy kid could do this,
Could take his own life.
On a cold Monday morning,
In the bedroom of his house.
A gun owned by his brother,
Oh the guilt I can imagine,
Of his parents, his sibling.
Blaming it on themselves,
Asking what they did wrong,
How they raised him wrong.
A single voice whispering,
The sobs of a girl,
An obituary in the newspaper,
A devastated town.
~~ In loving memory of Cody Alacano, who took his own life
on Monday, October 10, 2005...... we'll never forget him ~~
