A Single Soldier, by Broken-Hearted Angel. Subscribe to rss feed for Broken-Hearted Angel.

A single soldier bearing just one life
keeps marching forward through night
his actions adjacent to right and wrong,
the bullet's soar throughout the night;
the bombs stealing priceless lives.
While blood escapes from some,
Tears escape from others.
For war knows only death,
to ease the pain that's felt by
those whose freedom and joy was lost.
The restless men know not an end to pain,
inflicting it to try to ease their own.
Their only hope of peaceful rest
lies within grasp of freedom's song.
But freedom's precious soldier presses on.
A single soldier bearing just one life
keeps marching forward through night.

It sounds like only a story.. You should remember that poems do not have completed sentences..
