Jesus is born of a virgin,
Mary is her name
one cool evening in a stable.
There was a star shinning
that wise men followed
to meet this child
and gave him great gifts.

Mary and Joseph were very excited,
yet not fully understanding,
as many strange things were happening.

Years go flying by
and John had the honor
of baptizing Jesus,
although he would of
much rather been baptized
by him.

Soon Jesus is preaching and teaching
and the high priest were so astonished
at him, but thought that they knew it all
and so they plotted to kill him.
But Jesus kept right on doing good
and healing them all.

Finally, the day came,
betrayed with a kiss,
taken captive as it seemed,
for the high priest who couldn't wait
for his death, because after all
they knew it all.

Jesus' make believe trial began,
but Pilate said, THREE TIMES--
"I find no fault in him"
and decided to use an old custom
which would release one prisoner
and they would kill the other.
And the crowd went wild.

Jesus stood looking at the crowd,
as Barabbas was set free.
Barabbas looked at
Jesus happy, astonished
and perplex as he himself knew
full well
his punishment was just
and as he looks at Jesus
with a gloating grin,
Jesus was just standing there
as there eyes met
then he bowed his head.

The guards grab him
and take him to a place
where they mock and
beat the prisoners
only on Jesus
they went totally wild
and they beat him in such away
that no-one could hardly
recognize him.

Soon they are in the place
where they hang him
on a dogwood tree,
they drove nails in his hands and feet.
His blood all over his body
and still pouring out.
The crowd is going totally wild,
saying things
they themselves do not understand.

Yet Jesus only spoke scriptures,
and the whole world went black
and silence filled the air.
As Jesus said
"Father forgive them
for they know not
what they do"
His last words were
"IT IS FINISHED".

Now some thought
they did God a service
yet No-one understood
not even his followers.
Now Jesus is gone,
but Satan is not satisfied
so he jabbed him in his side
and gloated as blood and water flowed.

As the veil was rip in two,
Satan trembled in his sweat
in unsuspecting horror yet
and made sure he had placed guards
all around his tomb.

Satan sat on his throne
having a victory party,
but yet sending his servants
to and fro checking out the tomb.

And on the third day,
sure that he had won,
the door swings open
and there he stands!
Satan screams No, this can't be!
Jesus walks over to Satan
and whips him in his
own territory

and takes back the keys.

Now Satan on his knees
trembling in his sweat
as Jesus begins
to unlock the doors
and gone just like that.

So, Satan jumps to his feet
as he now knows that he has lost.
And he tells his servants
"Now look we need another plan".

Now as Satan sets up his plan...

Jesus goes to the Father
It is all set,
never to be changed.
Jesus interceding for all
that will believe.
