Two Hearts, by jeanimoo Subscribe to rss feed for jeanimoo

If I had said what I should have,
Would it be different today?

If only you did not gloat,
If only you had told the truth,
If only I had told the truth,
Would it be different today?

The morning will always
Give her light and
The moon will always
Shine at night.

Ever wonder, had we said
Things that should of been
While really wishing that
We had, and longing for
That second chance.

To speak those words
Ever locked within.

And life as we know it
Still goes on.
Day after day, sure no one
Can tell,
Admitting no defeat.

But, ahh to see that face,
Just one look: just to feel
Like that again!

A second chance at love.

How wonderful it would be.

To finally tell what lies
So deep within; that is locked
Within two hearts.

Just waiting to tell.

If only
If only
We would

Would it be different today?
