And there I am sitting
In this eternal memory
Lock this moment away now
Its the change of you and me

My eyes are avoiding your gaze
As you wait to hear me tell
The thoughts that contaminate my mind
Of how unknowingly I fell

The glass is covered in condensation
As I look with hope toward the sky
The stars shine bright in guidance
And I know now that I can not lie

So I lay my head upon your chest
And utter these words slight
And this is how I am changing everything
From within the stillness of the night

A sharp intake of breath you gasp
And the realization hits you hard
Your holding my hand tighter
For I have removed you from your guard

And theres many things to speak of
All are darting across verbal dialogue and the mind
The confusion between us is evident now
But in the future who knows what we shall find

So I shall remain here where you can find me
As you do as you must do
Im sitting in that moment still
I am waiting for you to be there too
