poem for a stranger, by pat Subscribe to rss feed for pat

Lemons are yellow
I catch the eye of a passerby and my body feels like jello
I say hello and then they are gone
like a beautiful fawn they run away
if only they had stayed, I have so much to say
but perhaps I will see them again someday
but this is for you, whoever you are
I wrote you this poem and it's straight from the heart
