A Sweet Dream, by Dr. Emil Khoury Subscribe to rss feed for Dr. Emil Khoury

Like the ups and downs
Of a proudly rising hill
She came into my life
And then left me standing still
Does she still remember me?
Does she still recall my name?
The same question keeps spinning
In my weary head over and over again
Should I expect a striking miracle?
Should I just wait for an erratic surprise?
How long can I wait? How long must I wait?
There's just no way for me to surmise
Should I just forget her?
Should I just think of her
As an incidental passing dream?
I just can't forget her
For she is to me the sweetest love
And most wonderful dream
