Scars

If time heals all wounds How long will this take? Keep picking myself up But I’m starting to break I’m holding on to the pieces But my will is wearing thin I tell myself I can’t give up Can’t let this darkness win I break down, then Somehow pull it back together Tell myself that, maybe, Next time will be better That one of these days I won’t need to cry That each day won’t be, just Another battle to get by Sometime I won’t have to “Just keep on going” I won’t have to settle The hurt will stop flowing But each day is a struggle And each night is a sin And I can’t help but wonder Can I really be okay again? 12:53am 10-1-2012
