Tribute to Ronan, by Butterfly Warrior Subscribe to rss feed for Butterfly Warrior

Death linger near,
it's all around,
I weep for those gone,
cheer for those who are strong,
those who weren't so lucky,
like little Ronan who,
lost his life to cancer,
he was only 4.

He didn't experience life,
as long as I have,
the poor little boy's life just began,
yet snatched away by deaths hand.

I hope he was happy,
what little bit of life he had,
he's in a better place so far away,
yet cancer killed him,
poor little guy.

I don't know you,
nor will I ever will,
but Ronan I feel grief,
your story's sad,
it made me see,
life's too short,
so live every moment like you were fearless,
no regrets,

dear Ronan,
i may not know you,
I know your story,
I love you still,
you lost to cancer,
but shed no tears,
a little angel,
flying to Heaven's piers.
