A dime can go a long way, by Butterfly Warrior Subscribe to rss feed for Butterfly Warrior

I see a mime,
I give him a dime.
He smiles and tips his hat,
I made him happy just like that.

He took his happiness,
and gave away,
his thanks to make a better day.
He opened a door for the blind,
and she smiled like she ate a chive.

She took her happiness,
and gave it away,
her thanks made a batter day,
a sick child about to go,
given food so he doesn't starve oh.

He took his happiness,
and gave it away,
to me he gave it,
just for saying hey.

That sick child was once mine,
her blind kindness saved my boy,
i took my happiness,
and gave it away,
to a mime it went,
another dime given to pay.
