My Demons, by Butterfly Warrior Subscribe to rss feed for Butterfly Warrior

I fight the demons every day.
I rise above the horrors,
I lose against the pain,
I try to make it better,
but the line of good sways.

It's everywhere but nowhere.
It's here and there.
Right now I wish it was here.

The forbidden rules of my life,
they make me cry and hurt,
I found the bright side to the dark,
my demons pull me back,
there's no escape from their cage.

Blood covers the floor,
tears are in the air,
sorrow lingers close,
black flowers grow near.

My demons come and beat me,
my pain won't exist,
where torture coexists with average people,
the "imperfect" world we live in is filled with people like
me,
those whose demons live,
those who cope with lies,
those who strategize.

My cage breaks, my demons die, I finally get my own life.
