Yes “Amineh” she was and so beautiful
My eyes became wet and tearful
When I saw her coming out of courtroom
There was powerful joy and no gloom

Her attacker was given sentence
Whole courtroom was tense
“Eye for an eye” court pronounced
Majid, the attacker was completely silenced

Amineh was really rose and attractive
No one dared to approach her to make submissive
She had her own way to live with joy
But Majid had ill wish at her to enjoy

When she was in street at night
The stars may twinkle at her sight
Such beautiful creation was having eclipse
Soon was to be destroyed his lovely face and lips

She refused to surrender at his request
That was only her fault to meet with rest
The blind man turned complete hostile
The acid was thrown on her face meanwhile

Her world darkened and lost the chance
To live with dram boy happily at once
Where will she go now and hide her face?
She was left behind with no future to trace

She died every moment to get justice
Majid got imprisonment with notice
Today the sentence was pronounced
“Eye for an eye” verdict was announced

Amineh watched the death shadow on his face
She wanted death fear to be seen in any case
The fear shadow completely silenced people
She thought for a while and sensed the trouble

“Why death for death” her soul revolted
She prayed for sentenced to be jolted
Lesser punishment for crime committed
Since the crime was in earnest proved and admitted

She had waited for this glorious day
Humanity at heart had not dragged her away
She left it to the almighty and wisdom
Such cases of generosity are heard seldom

Amineh.. Girls name.. Majid.. name… Recent case in Iran
