You were so merciful and kind Rare gesture we will never find How could we ask Him to perform? Keep us with peace and love warm You are savior and protector of this world The relations are getting strained and cold We are in dirty games and cheaply sold Facing misery and terrible pains untold Where could we go and ask for protection? You were only available for any holy action You could do it your self but chose to sacrifice Send on earth a great soul to fulfill the promise The wind, rivers and sky made it clear There won’t be any injustice or fear He was on earth for our good and betterment We hardly understood Him as heavenly sent What was he supposed to carry out? What were we using him for and talking about? His eyes spoke of only kindness with love We made him victim and extremely drove I felt constrained to see you on cross What a pathetic show I had to see and it was How much you could have felt at such pain? But you did not curse and calmly remained I have seen you number of times and felt the same I don’t know where from all strength and tolerance came? You knew it well that nothing may go right for you Yet it was very important and equally true You were for us to carry out the mission We had no guts for guilt admission We committed sin with unknown state of mind We even went on to hang and almost making you blind We are shameless and unwarranted on this beautiful earth Even thousands of years may be less with death Still the love and kindness may last more in years to come You will be remembered always with hearty welcome
