Something to tell, by jadia4708au Subscribe to rss feed for jadia4708au

Her surname sounded me bell
She was on line for something to tell
She had married to an Indian
Even though every inch she looked typical South African

“Hello dear sir” I am Christian and you can call me
Esther
Even though it was my call and I was sure to lead somewhere
She seemed to me to be imposing personality
A fine blend of product and rare quality

She appealed me more form her descent outlook
She had dared to marry a person from different stock
She had seized rare opportunity to present as ideal couple
This was from any angle a logical and very simple

She belonged to a town where Our National Father was
humiliated
He was thrown down from coach and visibly irritated
This reminded her of attachment to An Indian soil
M.K.Gandhai as was known later had to work hard and toil

She has got nationalistic touch from her husband
She was already intelligent but did not miss even second
She accepted proposal from Indian man and got settled
So many locals had resented and got rattled

I looked so small be fore her
She had enough of knowledge and nothing did deter
She has pleasing personality with unforgettable smile
I too thought over it even though did not look earlier for
while

It is essential and corner stone
One must learn to adjust even if not originally born
This gives large room for accommodation
It enhances bond and strengthens the relation

This poem may look of little importance
But serious thought should be given at once
It is a great gesture and requires patience
Even though it may involve initially many questions

Many nations have earned respect for human rights
It has thrown enough of responsibility and thrown some
light
The different races have contributed lot to their freedom
It has rarely affected anyone and spoiled the relation
seldom
