Pray for reprieve

We always ask for excuses and pray for reprieve Cheat our own conscience and deceive What is use of prayer if that goes with hollow aim? How can we still pretend innocence and claim? We all know He is all powerful and very kind Only things to follow is to adhere to and not act blind He is always three to help us and take out from crisis There has to be some limit on our actions with some basis Is this the only way left to us? Have we lost all the faith and trust? Do we go to God only when face the tide? Can’t we leave the flank so wide? It can not be called ignorance It is our excuse trail and stance We have become greedy and ignorant We blame God for all incidents In despair we look at the sky Curse the self and ask always why It is not the God’s creation We have been in for our own in critical situation When will we understand and come to term? When will we leave behind past and concerns/ Almighty is always there to take care off Why do we make mess out of it and laugh You have tears in eyes when find no answer Nothing may appeal not even good rain with shower You want limited gain for your just need You have become so selfish with greed
