Secrets, by Unique Disaster Subscribe to rss feed for Unique Disaster

I hope you never know my secrets
The ones that intoxicate my mind
I hope you never see the scars
The ones you’ll never find

The secrets build up
Lies on top of lies
I will not tell my secret
Until one of us dies

My secrets are the things I protect
As if it’s a darling new born
Then my secret is let out
My heart is then torn

A little piece of me
Has been hidden for so long now
How they never found out
I’ll never know now

I guess I’ll have to tell you now
Since you all ready know
That when I have a smile on my face
Much more goes on below

I now live by my façade
Something I live by
Protects me from most things
Until its time to die

This is really good! I enjoyed the poem and would just like to say that I know what you mean.
