Silence, by savannah Subscribe to rss feed for savannah

What if we never smiled
never spoke a word?
What if a small childs rambeling
was never to be heard?
What if the world was silent
and not even a young bird's
song of peaceful happiness
and joy could be heard?
What if everything was quiet
and we never spoke a word,
and never was a small, young child's
laughter ever to be heard?
It would be a world of misery
sadness and regret,
if you never could hear the bark
of the dog, that is your pet.
So enjoy all the noise
of this world that surrounds us
because would you like it
if the world became soundless?
