Tears of the Heart (song), by *~Mik@y1@~* Subscribe to rss feed for *~Mik@y1@~*

Tears,
They fall
From my heart.
Spill drops of sorrow.
Of a heart that broke
Into a million itty bitty pieces.
They start as a sprinkle,
But soon become torrential.

Chorus:
They’re the tears
Of the heart.
Sadness from
A vital part.
These tears of the heart
Are tearing me apart.

I’m sweet, pretty,
But vulnerable am I.
I’m strong and independent,
But you made me cry.
Your accusing glances
And deliberate ignoring,
Targeted my insecurities
And made me doubt.

Chorus:
They’re the tears
Of the heart.
Sadness from
A vital part.
These tears of the heart
Are tearing me apart.

Honestly,
This isn’t a surprise.
You were too gorgeous, but
I still can’t dry my eyes.
It sucks that I fell for you,
But I don’t totally regret it.
You gave me so much love and joy
Even if it was just for a moment.

Chorus:
They’re the tears
Of the heart.
Sadness from
A vital part.
These tears of the heart
Are tearing me apart. ©
