Beachy Head Is Overcrowded, by Don't build lies on ice cubes. Subscribe to rss feed for Don't build lies on ice cubes.

Trapped within these walls I built,
I am unable to break free.
Clamping down upon my brain,
Abusing my wavering mentality.

Pushing forward in this struggle,
Knowing desired end is within sight.
Getting ever nearer to the image,
The mirage sparkling in the night.

Shimmers sending me insane,
My eyes cry salted rough.
Longing seeps through my pores
and when is enough enough?

Stand atop of Beachy Head.
Glaze your eyes down towards the fall,
Catch your breath and hold it...
No noise makes the loudest call.

Look to the left of you...
And now stare towards the right.
Ghosts of people linger near,
Reminders of those who lost the fight.

Presence in the past,
Aids the dawning of the morn.
Shut your eyes to the dark,
Forget all the things you had sworn.

People standing side by side,
They look out towards the sky.
The sea lashes at the rocks below,
Whilst their hearts are flying high.

Tempted once to take that leap,
And fall from their increasing height.
Were unable to think they would succeed,
A falling star once shone bright.

Getting tight towards the top,
Suffocated on recycled air.
Standing on that suicidal cliff,
With all who have died there.

Gravity shall pull you down,
If you rise toward the peak.
Dont give in, stay standing stong.
Never jump because you're weak.

The time to fall is not yet.
You havent shown all that you can do.
Keep struggling until your strong.
And then will be right for you.
