thinking of you is a pain filled thing
knowing that the happiness is all a lie
yet to mind these thoughts i bring
you can no longer look me in the eye

and tell me that you tried
that you cared enough to fight
into this numbness i slide
willingly abandoning all light

there will always be a piece of me
that wishes things were different
but deep down i know they will never be
against my walls you no longer make a dent

you have left me wandering and cold
your words they no longer give me peace
your child again you will never hold
here is my heart, let me chip off a piece

ill leave it on your door mat
as you left me so long ago
your not welcome here stay at the back,
and watch your child without you grow.

I can feel the pain... It makes me hurt just to read this. I like how you write.
