Should We Forgive Him?, by unknown6655 Subscribe to rss feed for unknown6655

Should we forgive him for never being there?
Should we forgive him for not even bothering to care?
Should we forgive him for always putting us last?
Should we forgive him because it’s all in the past?
Should we forgive him for all the pain he caused us?
Should we forgive him for all that commotion and fuss?
Should we forgive him for the huge family strain?
Or how about all those tears of shame?
Although all of us may have a different view,
Only God knows what is and isn’t true.
Should we forgive him because he said he’s sorry, even
though it’s only because he wants a favor?
Should we forgive him because he’s on a temporary good
behavior?
Should we forgive him for all of his little games?
Or should we forgive him for calling us names?
Even though it’s probably a sin,
I simply cannot forgive him.
Yes he could’ve been a worse dad
And he wasn’t horribly bad.
But the thing is, he was never there to bond
For my love he didn’t seem too fond.
Because he’s done things that can’t be undone,
The games have just begun.

the games have just begun because u know the game..... i can relate to this, enjoyed it. u write should we forgive him- as if u now have the power to decide and we all secretly fear introspection!
