Without You, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

I have brought about
my own downfall
I have filled myself with doubt
and set myself up to lose it all

I never want to lose what i have gained
the feelings of you that drive me
even if my heart is pained
it is not as bad as it could be

for a day without you is a life
absent of all feeling
my pain as sharp as a knife
as if my heart is peeling

away the layers that bind it in
my hollow walls
i want you to come again
and walk my empty halls

without you i am a statue
standing hunched and broken
without you how can i be tall and true
i wish you would come back again
