City Girl Goes Country, by Nora Eason Subscribe to rss feed for Nora Eason

John Storms hesitated a moment after putting the rest of
his daughter's things in the trunk. His heart was breaking
at the thought of Katlyn leaving home, but he knew it was
time to let her go.
Face it John your little princess is all grown up,time to
set the little birdie free and let her fly."
"No one said this would be easy, it's just a part of life.
As much as he would like for her to remain here at home with
him and her mother. He couldn't and wouldn't stand in the way
of Katlyn making a life for herself, the way all her brothers
did.
John was very proud of all his and Sarah's children, proud
that they chose to let God lead them in the path they should
go in they're lives, and he had to thank God for giving he
and Sarah the understanding of his word and the wisdom to
teach their kids the word of the living God,
not just by reading the word, but letting them see Jesus in
them by putting God's word into action.'
"He and Sarah were very blessed.'
"John remembered the time when katlyn had gone to spend the
Summer with her Aunt and Uncle on they're farm in Tyler, then
coming home declaring, that when she grew up she was going to
pack up and move out of Dallas.
" She said that Dallas had way too much concrete and steel.
She said she wanted to live in a small town,so when she
looked up at the sky,she would see all sky, instead of all
the tall buildings and the smog was yucky.
Kaylyn wanted to see more trees and grass and wildflowers.
