Song-what you never seemed to notice, by Katelyn7 Subscribe to rss feed for Katelyn7

She hides behind a wall
That lets no one in.
But it'd all crumble down
If somebody would take her hand.
He keeps pulling her close
Just to try to make her give in.
How long can she stay strong?
Oh, when will this end?

One look on the street, she stares at her feet.
One word and shes gone and said to much.
Sees one smile, she frowns.
Insecure,
And she doubts
She'll ever rise above what is now.
If only she'd turn away.
If only she'd scream out.

She fakes everyday.
But smiles in a way, that tells everybody she's okay.
He's never treated her quite right.
Always made her feel horrible inside,
But still she doesn't let go.
Is it she's scared?
Or is that nobody seems to care?
But why does she keep it all inside?
If only somebody would tell her she has nothing to hide.

One look on the street, she stares at her feet.
One word and shes gone and said to much.
Sees one smile, she frowns.
Insecure,
And she doubts
She'll ever rise above what is now.
If only she'd turn away.
If only she'd scream out.

She feels so weak.
She feels so numb.
She feels so dirty.
She feels so wrong.
He doesn't care.
He's oblivious to how she feels.
Can she ever forget all these things he made her feel?

One look on the street, she stares at her feet.
One word and shes gone and said to much.
Sees one smile, she frowns.
Insecure,
And she doubts
She'll ever rise above what is now.
If only she'd turn away.
If only she'd scream out.

If you knew would you
take her hand
Even if it meant
she'd never let you
understand.
