My Dark Queen, by MorbidMaiden Subscribe to rss feed for MorbidMaiden

I see her walking down the hall,
In a dreamy state of mind.
Her eyes reach to another world,
She leaves this one far behind.

Queen of darkness, queen of night,
Will you be with me tonight?
Queen of shadows, queen of tears,
Will you slay all of my fears?

I call her name, her body whips round,
A gentle smiles lights up her face.
She runs to me, wraps me in her arms,
The pain in my heart is at last displaced.

Queen of darkness, queen of night,
Will you be with me tonight?
Queen of shadows, queen of tears,
Will you slay all of my fears?

The vision now fades to my dismay,
My fantasy splinters before my eyes.
My breath catches but hope remains,
Will one day she come to end my demise?

Queen of darkness, queen of night,
Will you be with me tonight?
Queen of shadows, queen of tears,
Will you slay all of my fears?

My breath catches but hope remains,
For the beautiful night when my dark queen will reign.
