TODAY

Today... I will think only good thoughts, I will cast all evil from my mind. I will not speak bad about anyone, I will only say words that are kind. Today... I will help an old person, smile at a child, Tell someone I like their hair; I will listen to a friend And let them know I care. Today... No matter what anyone says to me, I will not get mad. I will smile and act like I'm happy, Even if I'm feeling bad. Today... I will strive to do my best At everything I do. I will work hard, use my mind And try to learn something new. Today... I will be optimistic; I will try to see only the good. And even if I think I can't, I will act as though I could. Today... I will feel the sunshine, I will taste the water, I will smell the flowers.
