The Hungry Child, by LostSoul Subscribe to rss feed for LostSoul

The child cries
Begging for a scrap to eat
There's no meat
Bodies on the ground, laying
So many all around, dying
But no one cares
No one shares
They just stare
And say who cares
It's not me

Hungry for days
You can see the skin and bones
Sometimes weeks
Trying so hard to seek
But their too weak
They can't speak

They drown in sorrows
Don't see another tomorrow
It's just too painful
To much hurt and pain
They can't think
They can't gain
This is insane
Life is not a game
And it's not the same
Life is hell
It's worse than livin' in a jail cell
Bodies smell

Weakening to the point of no return
Don't you ever wonder when it's your turn
To burn
